National Honor Society organizes dress donation

   Bradley’s first ever prom dress sale was held on April 5th and 12th from 6-7pm, students donated their old or previously worn both short or long homecoming and prom dresses and dropped them off in the commons.Originally, the idea was a garage sale on school grounds to help the seniors clear out for college, but NHS wanted to create something that will help every student. National Honor Society (NHS) officer Madison Hammerberg and the NHS committee suggested the prom dress sale. The sale gave the students who want to attend prom but cannot afford the expenses of a dress an opportunity to buy a prom dress.

Students attend Zoo School

   Recently, students at Bradley have started to attend the Delaware Area Career Center’s Zoo School program. Zoo School allows students who are interested in being one of many careers, namely Zoology, in the biology and animal studies fields.

Multicultural fair offers students global perspective

   Beginning last year, the Global Impact Club has organized an in-school multicultural fair where students showcase their various cultures with booths. This year’s fair will take place on Friday, May 4 from first through fifth periods.

Rotary Club sponsors local speech contest

   On Thursday, April 5, two Bradley students, seniors Marie Perry and Austin Read-McFarland, walked away from the Four Way Test Speech Contest with pride, knowing that they had placed in the Rotary club sponsored contest.  Read-McFarland came in second place and Perry came in third.

Mia, resident Carpet Python, suffers from long-term depression

   Every day in the science hallway of Bradley, countless students pass by Mia the snake, a thirteen year old Carpet Python originally from Bowling Green State University.  Most of the students wonder, “Is she dead?”  Contrary to popular belief, however, she is alive.

Jag room changes location

Wonder why the Jag room has been moved? Well, the Jag room has now been changed to the Auxiliary Commons. The change in the Jag rooms went into effect after winter break. The Jag period was changed because staff believes that it will make it easier for students to get the help that they need. Fifth period will be held in room B252. This way the help will be located in one place. Now all the help will be in one specific location, unlike previously when the help was spread out in different locations. With the help spread out, and in different rooms the help the students needed was harder to access. The new location of the jag room makes sure that the students get the proper help they need. Colleen Ebert, supervisor of the Jag room, agrees and also thinks the change will benefit students.
