Students required to purchase English class books

Many Bradley students attended the Barnes and Noble book fair on September 4. The book fair made the novels that are required for English courses available to students for purchasing.

Pros, Cons: Bradley’s Astroturf

   A pristine green surface lays ahead, ready for all the abuse of the next match.  A ball rolls smoothly across the surface, its progress unaltered by bumps and holes.  This is one of the advantages of having artificial turf.  But, there are also disadvantages.

   Many students such as junior and soccer player Michael Rico enjoy having turf instead of grass.

Varsity football inaugural game opens season 1-0

 It was Saturday night, and everyone was in the student section of the football field, sporting their Bradley spirit wear. The community stood, getting caught up in the excitement of the game.  The fans cheered as the buzzer rang, signaling that the fourth quarter of the game was over, immediately alerting everyone that Bradley had won their first game, 19-18.

Cross country begins season on good note

The cross country team consists of distance runners who persevere and are off to a great first season.  While most teams practice on the school grounds, the cross country team travels to Prairie Oaks and Darby Creek Metro Park to work out. Work outs range from hill runs to four mile repeats.   

Their cross country coach, Jon Agriesti was the Darby boys Cross Country coach. He is currently responsible for the cross country team at Bradley which is made up of boys and girls.
